Overview

The program is structured around 5 main training days per week, with optional Add-On tracks for athletes who want to increase weekly training volume or include double sessions on selected days. Each main session is designed to be completed within 60–90 minutes, making it realistic to stay consistent even with a busy schedule.  The Add-On Tracks — Add-On Engine and Add-On Strength — are available directly in the FITR app under your track selection. They provide targeted volume for athletes who thrive on higher workloads and want to take the next step in their development. You’ll also get access to the Kriger HYROX Profile Test — completely free. This test analyzes your current fitness level, give you an estimated time for your Hyrox race and recommends which of the two main training tracks fits you best:
  • Strength Track – for those who need to build power, lifting efficiency, and fatigue resistance.
  • Engine Track – for those who need to improve aerobic capacity and muscular endurance.

Training Philosophy

We believe in quality over quantity — every session is designed with a clear purpose and defined intensity targets, helping you train smarter and perform better.

We train in 4–8 week cycles, each with a specific focus such as running capacity, speed, VO₂max, sled strength, transitions, or race-specific efficiency.

With every new cycle, you’ll get a detailed breakdown of goals, focus movements, and expected adaptations — so you always know what you’re working towards.

Competition Prep

If you have a HYROX race coming up, you can switch to our 8-week Competition Prep program directly inside the app. This phase includes race simulations, pacing and station strategy, taper guidance, and mindset preparation — everything you need to show up ready and confident on race day.
